Advertising
With the support of our advertisers, we are able to provide our Seniors Information Directory FREE and able to provide Seniors a high quality community reference book, which networks them, their families, and care providers with our advertisers' goods, services and amenities.
The Seniors Information Directory offers the following formats for ads:
- Banner Ad (5.25" x 2")
- 1/2 Page Ad (5.25" x 4")
- 1/2 Page Special-Section Front (5.25" x 4")
- Full Page Ad (6.25" x 9") Full Bleed (5.25" x 8" with no bleed)
- I/S Cover (6.25" x 9") Full Bleed (5.25" x 8" with no bleed)
- O/S Cover (6.25" x 9") Full Bleed (5.25" x 8" with no bleed)
All ads are full colour and can either be sent in by the advertiser in camera ready format or the advertiser can have our design department design their ad.

Web Rates:
Introductory rates for all ad sizes is $50 and will run until the end of 2008. Regular rates will apply for 2009. Initially ads will appear in directories posted on our WEB site in searchable PDF format. Later in 2008, all ads will be part of our searchable database and will be linked to subject or category look ups.
Non print-ready materials:
For logos or other images, please supply them with a minimum resolution of 200 dpi in EPS, TIFF or JPEG format. We cannot use Web images nor images in word processor files for typesetting. You can supply files by e-mail, on CD or via Loading Dock online file transfer service.
Print-ready materials:
Print-ready materials may be supplied in digital format in two ways:
- PDF (Acrobat Acrobat) files created from professional layout programs.
- Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and QuarkXpress(Version 6) files
Please include all screen and printer fonts, as well as any image files used in the advertisement.
File Checklist:
- Files Are 300 DPI?
- Ads are the Right Size?
- Full Page Ads have Bleeds?
- Files are CMYK?
Accepted File Formats are: .ai | .psd | .eps | .jpg | .tiff
